Koncert has integrated with Gong, which allows users to access the Koncert recorded calls and import them into Gong for analysis. With Gong, you can keep track of all the recorded calls, which are transcribed and analyzed for your sales growth.
To complete the integration with Gong, the following steps must be completed in Koncert » Settings » Third Party Integrations tab.
NOTE: Please contact Koncert Support at support@koncert.com to enable the Third Party Integrations tab under Settings.
Below are the steps in this article that covers the Koncert-Gong Integration.
Authorize Gong
- After logging into the Koncert Portal (either Standalone or CRM), navigate to the Settings » Third Party Integrations tab.
- Click on the Authorize button.
- The following window will pop up asking you to grant access to your Gong account. Click Allow to authorize the access.
- Once your integration has been authorized, the below confirmation message will be displayed. Click OK.
- The Authorize button will be hidden from your view. You will also see the ‘Enabled’ checkbox selected, indicating that Gong has been successfully integrated with Koncert.
- The Assign Users button will be enabled to allow you to proceed with the setup.
Assign Users
After completing the Koncert-Gong Integration, you will now be able to map Gong users to your Koncert users so the call recordings can be imported and analyzed.
NOTE: The users will be listed under Settings » Third Party Integrations » Assign Users.
- In the Third Party Integrations tab, click on the Assign Users button.
- In the Assign Users window, choose a user from the Gong Users dropdown and map it with the corresponding Koncert Users. Only the call recordings for the mapped users will be imported to Gong.
NOTE: By default, all the Koncert Users will be listed under the Koncert Users pane. You will find all the Gong Users associated with your Gong account under the Gong Users dropdown.
- Click Save to save the settings.
- A confirmation message ‘Saved Successfully’ will be displayed. Click OK.
Analyze the Call Recordings
Once Gong is integrated with Koncert, it takes 5-10 minutes to retrieve the recorded calls for further analysis.
Gong will only import Connected and Skipped calls, categorized based on the following scenarios:
Scenarios | Call Type |
If the user reached the prospect and had a conversation with them | Connected Call |
Conversation on one side only (prospect's or user's side) | Connected Call |
Call continues to ring and there is no answer from the prospect | Skipped Call |
Call dropped due to any reason | Skipped Call |
Under the Home tab » My Calls section of the Gong application, all the connected calls will be displayed. However, the skipped calls are grouped under the Skipped Calls section, which can be expanded and viewed.
The call recordings will be sorted and displayed by date.
Users can view the outbound call information and analyze the recorded calls.
