Once you have successfully added your Call List(s) to the Lists tab—whether they are sourced from your CRM/SEP, uploaded as CSV files from your computer, or added from a Cadence—the next step is to upload these Call Lists into the Dialing Session tab to begin your dialing campaign. Here's a detailed guide on how to upload and manage these lists within the Koncert platform:
Below you can find how to select and move the Call List(s) into the Dialing Session tab:
- In the Lists tab, select the checkbox for the list(s) you want to upload into Dialing Session. You can select up to four list(s) at once.
- Once you've selected your lists, you will need to choose the Calling Order (from 1 to 4) for each list. This allows you to determine the sequence in which the lists will be dialed during your session.
- Click on the Begin Import button to upload the selected list(s) into the Dialing Session tab for dialing.
NOTE: If you are uploading multiple lists, you will see an alert confirming that the dialing settings configured in the first list will apply to the remaining lists. You can modify these settings before proceeding with the dialing session.
This notifies the user that the dialing settings configured in the very first list will be applied to the successive lists. If needed, you can change the dialing settings before you begin dialing.
If you have not specified a Calling Order for the multiple lists, an additional alert will notify you of this and prompt you to select the correct order before proceeding.
Click Confirm to begin and merge the lists together or click the Close icon to choose the required Calling Order.
- Once you confirm, the Import Status screen will appear, showing the progress of each file upload. This includes the total number of records being processed and their current status.
Troubleshooting Upload Issues: During the upload process, certain issues may arise if there are discrepancies in your data. Here are some common scenarios and how to handle them:
- Total Contacts – Number of prospects in the list
- Contacts Uploaded – Number of prospects that uploaded successfully
- Missing Contact Name(s) – If any records are missing the Contact Name field, those will not be uploaded.
- Missing/Invalid Phone Number(s) – Records with missing or invalid phone numbers (e.g., incomplete numbers or incorrectly formatted numbers) will also fail to upload.
- Duplicate Contact(s) – If there are duplicate records within the uploaded list(s), they will be excluded from the dialing session.
NOTE: To view more detailed information about these issues, click the Info icon next to each category (e.g., Duplicate Contacts, Missing Contact Names, etc.).
For example, clicking the Info icon next to Duplicate Contacts will bring up a Duplicate Records window where you can review and manage the affected records.
If you need to keep track of the issues or clean up your data, you can export the list as a CSV file by clicking the Export to CSV button. This allows you to download a copy of the records, including those with issues, for further review or correction.
- Once everything is ready, click Continue to proceed to the Dialing Session and begin your calls.
