The Custom Fields feature in Koncert empowers administrators to import and manage custom fields from Salesforce seamlessly within the Koncert portal. This ensures smooth integration and synchronization between Salesforce data and Koncert workflows.
For the Salesforce org, the columns Koncert Fields, Salesforce Lead Fields, Salesforce Contact Fields, Salesforce Activity Fields and Action will be available.
The Custom Fields tab includes the following columns for Salesforce organizations:
- Koncert Fields – Displays all the fields available in Koncert.
- Field Type – Indicates the type of field (e.g., Textbox, Checkbox).
- Read Only – Specifies whether the field is editable or view-only.
- Salesforce Lead Fields – Shows fields related to leads in Salesforce.
- Salesforce Contact Fields – Shows fields related to contacts in Salesforce.
- Salesforce Activity Fields – Shows fields related to activities in Salesforce.
- Action – Displays the delete option to delete the fields.
By default, mandatory fields from Salesforce are automatically mapped to corresponding Koncert fields. These mandatory fields are system-defined and cannot be deleted or modified.
Administrators can map remaining Salesforce fields to Koncert fields using the dropdown menus available under the respective columns.
The dropdown lists out the fields that match with the field type of particular field. For example, the Created Date field type of DATE can only be mapped to other DATE-type fields in Salesforce, such as Created Date or Bounced Date.
The fields Comments, Due Date, and Subject, are automatically retrieved from Salesforce and displayed under the Salesforce Activity Fields column.
The Subject field is auto-mapped to the Koncert field, the other fields can be mapped manually using dropdown options.
Show Dropdown Options
The Show Dropdown in the Custom Fields tab provides a streamlined view and management of fields.
This dropdown includes two options:
- Prospect Fields: Displays and allows you to create fields related to prospects such as Name, City, Phone, and Title.
- Account Fields: Displays and allows you to create fields related to accounts such as Account Name, Industry, and Revenue.
By selecting the appropriate option, you can view and manage fields specific to the selected category.
