In the Custom Caller ID Settings, the Admin or Manager (with admin rights) can grant access to their team members (Sales Reps) to add or purchase Custom Caller IDs on their own from Twilio or to delete the custom Caller IDs.
Below you can find how to grant access to the Sales Reps:
- In the Caller IDs tab » Custom Caller IDs sub-tab, click the Settings button.
- After the Permit users to purchase caller id(s) window pops up, select the checkbox under the Action column for the users (Sales Reps) you wish to offer permission.
- Click Save. An alert message 'Settings Updated' will be displayed.
For User with Granted Permission:
A new button Add New will be available for the selected users in their Caller IDs tab » Custom Caller IDs sub-tab to add or purchase Custom Caller IDs from Twilio and Delete icon will be enabled.
Also, users can see the total number of Caller IDs available, the number of Caller IDs purchased from Twilio, and the remaining free Caller IDs that can be purchased from Twilio.
By default, the Custom Caller IDs that are added or purchased and assigned to the users by the Admin or Manager will be listed in this tab. The user can add their phone numbers or purchase Caller IDs from Twilio by clicking the + Add New button. Refer to the article Add Custom Caller IDs for detailed information.
For User with Disabled Permission:
The button Add New will be hidden and also the Delete icon will be grayed-out.
