Enhance your calling experience with Custom Caller IDs! Whether adding your phone number, company-owned IDs, or purchasing directly from Twilio, the process is simple. Here's a sleek walkthrough for setting up your Caller IDs.
Add your Number
Steps to Add Your Custom Caller IDs:
- In the Custom Caller IDs sub-tab, click the + Add New button.
NOTE: This option is available only if your manager has enabled access in the Custom Caller ID settings. For details, check out the Custom Caller IDs Settings.
- The Add Custom Caller IDs window pops up, where the option Add Your Number will be selected by default.
- The following information is required to add your Custom Caller IDs.
- Country – Choose the relevant country (default: United States).
- Caller ID – The country code is pre-set. Enter your phone number or Caller IDs that your company owns to use them.
- Assign to Users – Select the users who will access this Caller ID.
- Enable Caller ID Managed Services (optional) – Check this box to activate managed services for the Caller ID.
Upon enabling, this deducts one credit from your Caller ID limit and moves the Caller ID to the Health Check tab for spam verification.
- My company has the right to use this number as a Caller ID when making calls from Koncert (mandatory) – Check the box to permit Koncert to use this as a Caller ID.
- Click Save to finalize. Upon successful addition, you’ll see the alert: Caller ID Added.
NOTE: If the number already exists, an error message will prompt you: Another Caller ID already exists. Please check and try with a different Caller ID.
It will also be added to the Caller IDs list and be available for making outbound calls right away.
- The newly added Caller ID will immediately appear in the Custom Caller IDs sub-tab.
NOTE: Caller IDs with Enable Caller ID Managed Services activated will display an Info icon. Hover over it for more details.

Add From Twilio
IMPORTANT NOTE: Twilio supports Caller ID purchases for numbers only in the United States and Canada. Any International Caller IDs will need to be purchased outside of Koncert.
Below you can find how to add the Caller IDs from Twilio to the Cart:
- In the Custom Caller IDs, Click + Add New.
- After the Add Custom Caller IDs window pops up, select the option Add From Twilio.

Choose your Location from the Choose Location dropdown; either United States or Canada.
- Choose a desired State from the Choose State dropdown. States associated with the selected Location will only be listed here for selection.
- Choose an Area Code to narrow down the results.
- Click the Go button to display a list of available Caller IDs matching your filter.
NOTE: All Caller IDs available in the selected state will appear if the Area Code field is left blank when clicking the Go button.
- Select your desired Caller IDs and click Add to Cart.
- Upon successful addition, an alert Added to Cart will confirm your selection.
NOTE: If there is any Automated Local Presence Caller IDs in the cart, you’ll see an alert below alert:
- The number of items in your cart will appear on the View Cart button.
- Click on the Cart
button to proceed the purchase.
