With Caller IDs, you can customize how your prospects see your phone number when dialing, which can increase your call pick-up rate. You can choose the required Caller IDs from the Setting Summary window before dialing the prospects. The Caller IDs must either be:
- Purchased from Twilio - For more detailed information about integrating with Twilio, refer to the article Caller IDs - Twilio Integration.
- Added as phone numbers that your company owns
These numbers will appear in the Settings Summary window.
There are three main sections under the Caller IDs tab, each providing various actions for managing your Caller IDs.
- Custom Caller IDs – This section allows you to add phone numbers or Caller IDs that are owned by your company. It also includes the option to purchase Caller IDs from Twilio. The Personal Caller IDs added in the Workspace » My Profile tab will be displayed
- Mapped Caller IDs – This section is where you can purchase new Caller IDs from Twilio and also map them to specific states or area codes if needed.
- Health Check – The Health Check tab displays the number of caller IDs (Purchased from Twilio) that have been marked as spam by various entities and organizations related to telecommunication providers and consumer protection.
