If you have Caller IDs with significant usage, they can be released from specific area codes. Here’s a step-by-step guide to release purchased or mapped Caller IDs:
- Navigate to the Mapped Caller IDs sub-tab and click on the Three-Ellipsis icon above the grid, where you can view the option Release Caller ID.
- The below Release Caller ID window appears.
- Select the Caller ID(s) that you want to release by clicking the checkbox under the Release column. Click the Release Caller ID(s) button.
- A confirmation message will appear displaying the remaining Caller IDs available for purchase.
Click Proceed to finalize the release.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Once released, the Caller ID will be permanently removed and may not be available for future purchase.
In addition to this, if you have already reached your purchase limit i.e. subscription count, and attempt to release some caller IDs, the below alert informing you that you can only purchase new caller IDs again starting from the 1st of the subsequent month will be displayed.
For example, if your caller ID purchase limit is 100 and you've reached the limit, any attempt to release caller IDs within the month will result in a restriction on purchasing new caller IDs until the 1st of the next month.
In this case, you can use the Cushion Percentage by contacting Koncert Support to increase your purchase limit. It is nothing but an additional buffer of caller IDs beyond the Subscription count.
An Info 
icon will be made available if you have availed the Cushion Percentage feature. A tooltip will be displayed when hovering over it.
For example, if your organization has a limit of 100 caller IDs and you have availed a 10% cushion limit, then an additional 10 caller IDs can be purchased.
Here, in case you have purchased the additional 10 caller IDs and when trying to purchase another caller ID, the following alert will be displayed.
If needed, you can contact Koncert Support to increase your Cushion Percentage limit, to purchase additional Caller IDs.
