Mapping Caller IDs across states allows you to utilize purchased Caller IDs in multiple locations, increasing flexibility and coverage. Follow these steps to effectively map Caller IDs to other states.
Prerequisites:
Ensure you have purchased the Caller IDs before attempting to map them across states.
Refer to the article Purchase the Caller IDs in the Cart for instructions on purchasing Caller IDs.
Below you can find how to map Caller IDs across States:
- In the Mapped Caller IDs sub-tab, click the Map Across Other states button above the grid.
- The Map Caller IDs across states window will appear.
- Locate the State Name where you want to map Caller IDs. In the Map Across Other States dropdown, select the State from which the purchased Caller IDs should be mapped. For example, Caller IDs purchased for Arizona can be mapped to Alabama. Repeat this step if you wish to map Caller IDs from multiple states to the same target state.
- After completing your selections, click the Save button at the bottom of the window.
- A confirmation message Mapping Saved will appear.
The Mapped column indicates how many Caller IDs are mapped to the state. Check the Mapped column in the grid to view the number of Caller IDs successfully mapped to each state.
- The Mapped Caller IDs will now be visible under all the area codes of the target state in the grid.
