Salesfloor is a versatile feature that allows users to initiate audio sessions through the Remote Salesfloor or a dialing session, thus creating virtual rooms where other users can join or listen to sessions. This article provides comprehensive instructions on how to create and join a Salesfloor room and manage its attendees.
In the context of Salesfloor rooms, there are three main roles: the host, the attendee, and the observer. The host is the user who creates the room, the attendee is any person who joins the room created by the host and the observer is a person who does not join or belong to any room but can listen to conversations within any room.
Refer to the article Salesfloor - Workspace for detailed information on managing the rooms.
Creating a Salesfloor Room
- Navigate to the Remote Salesfloor tab, and then click the "Create New Room" button located at the top center of the screen.
NOTE: Alternatively, the room will be created automatically upon clicking the Join Audio button in the Dialing Session tab.
- Upon clicking, a new room will be created.
The created room will be displayed on other users' salesfloor side panel as a tile as shown below.

Also the Microphone, Video Camera and Screen Sharing options are turned off by default. If needed, you can turn it on based on the preferences.

Initiate a Dialing Session
Now, the attendee has entered into the host's room, where the host is ready to begin the session but has not started sharing his screen.
In the below screenshot, the attendee can see the host's screen while the host is currently on a call (Call Status). However, the host cannot see the visual activities happening in the room until the attendee initiates screen sharing.
The attendee can see the host's screen once the host has shared the screen and started the session.
Call Status
During the session, the host's status can be one of the following:
- Dialing: The host has started dialing the list.
- On Call: The host is currently on a call.
- Paused: The host has paused the session by clicking the Pause button.
- On Wrap: The host is in the wrap phase of the session
The screenshot below shows the host's screen from the attendee's point of view when the host is about to start the session.

For Host:
For Attendee:
However, the host will only hear the sound effect when the call status changes from On Call to Dialing, On Wrap, or Paused during the session, ensuring the playful sound does not distract during interactions with prospects.
