Remote Salesfloor empowers you and your team to stay connected, support one another, and seamlessly address challenges through effective mentoring, wherever you are working from.
In the Remote Salesfloor, the user can act as a Host, an attendee, or an observer.
- Host –The host is the user who initiates the session and thereby establishes the virtual room where other users can join or listen to calls. Refer to the section Host.
- Attendee - An individual who joins another user's meeting room either to listen or speak is referred to as an Attendee (Attendee is a person who joins another user's meeting room to listen or speak). They cannot initiate a dialing session and therefore Join Audio is disabled during such sessions. In the meeting room, there can be multiple attendees. Attendees can only see their meeting room on the main screen, while other meeting updates are visible in the Salesfloor panel. They have visibility of other attendees present in the room. Refer to the section Attendee.
- Observer – A user with Observer permission has the ability to monitor and listen in on various meetings without actively participating. The Observer has functions similar to the Attendee. Refer to the section Observer.
Host
The individual who joins the audio by clicking the Join Audio button or creates a room in the Remote Salesfloor tab is referred to as the host. A room is automatically created in the Remote Salesfloor for others to join or listen in on the conversation. The host can organize meetings or initiate a dialing session where other users can join or listen to calls.
Actions:
- Use Reactions/Emojis: Hosts can express themselves using reactions and emojis.
- Share Screen: Hosts can share their screen for other users in the room to view.
- Manage Participants: Hosts can see and manage room participants, including removing users.
- Start Dialing Session: Hosts can start a dialing session while already hosting a room.
Settings:
- Meeting Control: Hosts can control meeting settings such as muting the mic, sharing video, and sharing the screen.
- Create and End Meetings: Hosts can create and end meetings, including sending an alert message when ending a meeting.
- Identification: The host's name is added to the Meeting Room Name to identify them as the creator of the room.
- Remove Attendees: Hosts can remove attendees from the meeting room.
- Speak with Prospects: Only the host can speak with prospects during a dialing session; others' mics are muted.
- Meeting Room Theme: Hosts can change their individual meeting room theme based on their workplace.
Metrics Information:
- View Other Meeting Rooms: Hosts can view other available meeting rooms in the Salesfloor.
- Attendee Count: Hosts can see the number of attendees in the room, excluding themselves.
- List of Attendees: Hosts can view the list of attendees in the room under the Dialing Session.
- Other Meetings: Hosts can see other meetings and their participants in the Dialing Session.
- Dialing Status: Hosts can view the dialing status while in the Dialing Session.
Additional Features:
- View Shared Screens: Hosts can view attendees' shared screens in the Remote Salesfloor and shared screens/videos in the Dialing Screen.
- Refresh: A refresh icon is available for hosts to refresh the Remote Salesfloor panel and view the latest meetings.
- Meeting Room Visibility: Hosts can only see their meeting room on the main screen, while other updates are displayed in the Salesfloor panel.
Attendee
An individual who joins another user's meeting room either to listen or speak is referred to as an Attendee. Attendees cannot initiate a dialing session, and therefore, the Join Audio button is disabled during such sessions. Multiple attendees can be present in a meeting room.
Attendees can only see their own meeting room on the main screen, while other meeting updates are visible in the Salesfloor panel. They also have visibility of other attendees present in the room.
Actions:
- Join Meeting Rooms: Attendees can join any room to communicate with the user but can only be in one room at a time.
- Listen to Conversations: Attendees can listen to user/prospect conversations but cannot directly communicate with prospects.
- Use Reactions/Emojis: Attendees can express themselves using reactions and emojis.
Metrics Information:
- Attendee Count: Attendees can see the number of attendees, including the host, in the room as well as the number of attendees in the dialing screen.
- List of Other Meetings: Attendees can view the list of other meetings in the Dialing Screen.
- Dialing Status: Attendees can view the dialing status of the host.
Settings:
- Configure Microphone and Camera: Attendees can configure their microphone and camera settings.
- Customize Theme/Background: Attendees can customize their theme or background based on their workplace.
- Mic Control: Attendees can unmute the mic based on the dialing status of the host and can toggle their mic on/off, except during the host's dialing period.
- Share Video or Screen: Attendees can share video or screen and can stop sharing at any time.
- Leave Meeting: Attendees have the option to leave a meeting at any time.
Additional Features:
- View Shared Content: If the host shares video and content, attendees can view the shared screen.
- Refresh: Attendees can refresh the Remote Salesfloor panel to view the latest available meetings using the refresh icon. This action will end the current meeting.
Observer
A user with Observer permission has the ability to monitor and listen in on various meetings without actively participating. The Observer has functions similar to the Attendee. By default, Manager and Admin has the Observer permission.
Actions:
- Listen to Conversations: Observers can listen to conversations within any room.
- Monitor Participants and Discussions: Observers can monitor participants and discussions in other meeting rooms during Dialing Sessions and on the Remote Salesfloor.
- Listen All Feature: Observers can choose to listen to conversations across all meeting rooms with the Listen All feature or individually listen to meetings.
- Join Meetings: Observers are limited to joining only one meeting at a time.
- View Screen Sharing: Observers can view screen-sharing activities in any room.
- View Reactions/Emojis: Observers can view reactions/emojis shared within any room through Salesfloor.
- Access Shared Videos: Observers can view videos shared by hosts or attendees.
- Operate Discreetly: Observers can operate discreetly, without being counted as attendees or revealing their presence to hosts or attendees.
- Flexible Roles: Observers have the flexibility to function as hosts by creating rooms, participate as attendees by joining rooms, or simply observe ongoing meetings.
Metrics:
- View Attendees: Observers can view the attendees available in a room by viewing the attendees' tiles in the Remote Salesfloor Panel.
Settings:
- Restricted Interactions: Interactions between observers and other participants are restricted.
- No Authority to Modify Settings: Observers do not have the authority to modify themes, video settings, or microphone settings.
- Limited Access: Observers do not have access to view the dialing status of other meetings.
