The Initial Transfer Greeting (ITG) feature empowers you to deliver personalized and professional messages during call transfers. Whether you want a warm introduction, a formal tone, or something tailored to your audience, ITG gives you full control. Record, review, and manage your greetings to ensure seamless communication and a positive first impression. The ITG feature is applicable only for Agent Assisted Dialer.
You can manage your ITG settings from the Dialing Session tab » Settings Summary window » Agent Assisted Dialer section. From here, you can record, play, or delete ITG as needed.
Explore the ITG Experience:
Record ITG
- Navigate to the Dialing Session tab » Settings Summary window » Agent Assisted Dialer section.
- Click on the Record icon beneath the Select Greeting dropdown.
NOTE: If you try to record a ITG without being connected to the phone bridge, an alert will appear.
- In the New Greeting window, enter your desired ITG Name (no spaces and symbols allowed, but characters are permitted), then click Record to begin recording your message.
- After recording, click the Stop to end the recording.
- You can click the Play button to review your recording or click Save to store the ITG.
- Your newly recorded ITG will appear in the Select Greeting dropdown for future use.
Play Initial Transfer Greeting when call is transferred – Select this option if you wish to use the greeting during the call transfer. The Sales Rep can also hear the greeting play once the call has been transferred. Start your discussion once it has ended.
Play ITG
From the Select Greeting dropdown, select the ITG you wish to listen to. Click the Play link to hear the recording.
Delete ITG
You can delete the ITG at any time as you wish.
- Select the ITG that you wish to delete from the Select Greeting drop-down and click the Delete link.
- A confirmation message below will be displayed. Click Confirm to delete the ITG.
- After successful deletion, the message shown below will be displayed.
