You can either delete a prospect individually or select multiple prospects and delete them from Cadence on behalf of your users.
Delete individual or multiple prospects
Below you can find how to delete individual or multiple prospects from Cadence, on behalf of the user:
- In the Prospects tab, select your user from the User(s) dropdown.
- Select the prospects that you wish to delete by clicking the checkboxes to the left of the names.
- Then, click on the Action dropdown above the grid and select the option Delete.
NOTE: You can delete the prospects individually by clicking the Delete icon on the floating toolbar when hovering over a prospect, as shown below:
- A confirmation message will be displayed, as shown below. Click Delete to delete the prospect(s) from Cadence or click the icon to cancel the process.
NOTE: You can see the message “Delete Prospect(s) on behalf of <User name>” with Yellow highlighted.
- After the prospects have been successfully deleted, the alert message shown below will be displayed.
Search & Delete all prospects from Cadence
Below you can find how to search and delete all prospects from Cadence, on behalf of the user:
- In the Prospects tab, select your user from the User(s) dropdown.
- Now, select the filter to search for prospects you wish to delete (e.g. Account Name ‘Blue Stone’) and press Enter or click the icon.
- Click on the Action dropdown above the grid and select the option Delete.
- A confirmation message will be displayed, as shown below. Click Delete to delete all prospects in the search list at once from Cadence or click the icon to cancel the process.
NOTE: You can see the message “Delete Prospect(s) on behalf of <User name>” with Yellow highlighted.
- After the prospects have been successfully deleted, the alert message shown below will be displayed.
NOTE:
- If you would like to delete few prospects of a specific group on behalf of a user, search the prospects and select the checkbox in the grid header. A confirmation message below will be displayed with prospects count only when the prospects count that meets the criteria/filter applied is greater than the current View Page count (5 or 10 or 25 or 50 or 100).
○ Click the prospects count in blue to delete only the prospects in the current view page, or
○ Click the prospects count in green to delete the entire prospects (that meets the criteria/filter applied) in the tab
- Prospects deleted from Cadence cannot be recovered but can be uploaded as new prospects.
- You cannot delete a prospect that was moved into the My session tab for dialing. If you try to do so, the alert message below will be displayed:
