The Meetings feature is used to schedule an individual meeting with a prospect that brings an opportunity to present your business and its values in detail. After successful acceptance of the meeting request, the user can establish a one-off Call from Cadence on the specified date & time to connect with the prospect and initiate the presentation.
To enable and use the Meetings feature, you must configure the following settings in the Settings » Meetings tab:

On the Meetings tab, there is a toggle button to turn ON/OFF the Meetings feature on demand.
Turn ON the button to enable the Meetings tab in the Cadence to schedule meetings with prospects. Refer to the article Schedule a Meeting for detailed information on scheduling meetings.
General Information
Here are the basic settings that must be configured for the logged-in user to set up the Meetings:
- Calendar Type – By default, the calendar type option will be selected based on the Server Type chosen in the Settings » Emails tab. Read-only field.

- Calendar – Choose the calendar from the dropdown for synchronization. Meetings scheduled in the Cadence will be synchronized with the calendar and communicated to prospects. Defaults to the Email ID that you have configured in the Settings » Emails tab for email communication.
For example, if the email domain (server type) is 'Gmail' then the calendar will be Google Calendar.
- Timezone – Select the desired time zone to book/schedule meetings.
- Meeting Link – By default, the meeting link will be configured and grayed out. Read-only field. You can add your org name at the end of the link.

- Copy Link – You can copy the meeting link to add to your email signature that enables prospects to check your availability and book a meeting immediately by clicking the link.
Upon clicking the Copy Link button, a confirmation message below will be displayed.
- Meeting Link Expiry – Choose the number of days the link should remain active from the dropdown, after which the link will be expired. The available days are 7 days, 15 days, and 30 days.
- Meeting Duration – Select the duration of the meeting from the dropdown.
- Meeting Location – Enter the meeting link (Zoom, Microsoft Teams Meeting, WebEx, etc.) you would like sent to your prospects. Refer to the article Schedule a Meeting for detailed information.
- Meeting Description – Enter the meeting description to be communicated to the prospects via the Meeting request email.
Click Save to save the settings configured. A confirmation message below will appear after successful saving.
My Availability
Expand this section to choose your availability for prospects to view and schedule meetings.
- Select the days in a week your are available by clicking the checkbox to the left of each day and set your available hours.
Depending on the Meeting Duration set in the General Information section, time slots will appear in the Meetings tab, for the selected time duration.
Also, the time slots available for the prospects to choose will be displayed on white background, while a gray background will be displayed for the unavailable slots.
- If you cannot be available throughout and to split up the break hours, click on the icon.
Similarly, you can delete the split up by clicking the icon.
- To extend your availability on weekends, select the checkbox Include Weekends. This option enables the selection of timeslots for Saturday and Sunday.
Click Save to save the settings configured. A confirmation message below will appear after successful saving.
Meeting Settings
Here are the advanced settings that must be configured for the logged-in user to set up the Meetings:
- Allow prospects to re-schedule meetings – Select to include the reschedule link in the meeting invite mail for the prospects. Prospects can click and reschedule the meeting as per the availability of the user.
- Reschedule meetings within weeks from the original date – Choose the number of weeks for which the time slots are to be displayed for prospects to reschedule, from the original date.
- Allow prospects to schedule meeting with at least prior notice of – Select this option to enable prospects to reschedule the meeting before the selected time period. For example, if the selected time period is 2 hours, prospects can reschedule the meeting at any moment before 2 hours of the meeting.
- Add buffer between meeting – Set the required buffer time between meetings.
Meeting Workflow
- Exit the prospects from Cadence, when – Select this option to exit the prospects from Cadence on the following scenarios:

- User books meeting with Prospect – Select to exit the prospects from Cadence (if assigned to a Cadence) when the user books a meeting with a prospect.

- Prospect schedules meeting with User – Select to exit the prospects from Cadence (if assigned to a Cadence) when the prospect reschedules meeting with the user based on their availability.
- No action is required (Prospect can continue in the Cadence) – Upon selecting this option, no action will be taken on the cadence execution for the prospect (if assigned to a cadence), when the user books a meeting with a prospect.
- Select the work start time – Select the default start time of the day to schedule a meeting. The time slot will be displayed from the selected work start time.
Click Save to save the settings configured. A confirmation message below will appear after successful saving.
